Why Wedding Videography is a Must Have For Your Day

Your wedding day is often one of the biggest days of your life (except maybe having children!) Its one of the only times that all of your family and friends will be in one room celebrating you and your partner. Everyone remembers to book their photographer early but one of the biggest regrets couples have after their day is not having booked a videographer. From the perspective of not only a wedding videographer but also someone who has gotten married themselves, here's why I think videography is a must have for your day.

When you watch your video back, all the emotions and feelings from the day will come rushing back to you. I've had countless messages from couples saying that they sobbed their whole way through watching their wedding film because it just brought back every single emotion they felt on the day. From the happy tears, to the belly laughs, you'll see and feel it all.

One of the most special parts of your day is undoubtably your ceremony, the part where you actually make it official. The other bit that you'll find yourself wanting to watch back are your speeches, when you loved ones talk about your relationship and everything that makes you both perfect for each other. In all of my packages, I share your ceremony and speeches in full so that you can watch these moments again and again.

I often say to couples that your wedding film is like a time capsule. It's the perfect way to remember more than just what people looked like but how they were, their manorisms, their movements, their laughs. Personally, I love that our wedding film gives us the opportunity to see our daughter from that time and see all of her little quirks that we had forgotten as time has gone on. It's also really special for us to be able to see those who are no longer with us enjoying our day and interacting with us and our guests.

Your wedding film will be so easy to watch that it's perfect for those special days like anniversaries but also for those tough days when things aren't feeling so magical. Watching your love story will take you right back to everything you were feeling on that day. I share all of my films on an online platform that you can watch on your phone, your laptop or even your TV! I also send every couple a keepsake USB that makes a beautiful display piece and a really easy way to share your wedding film with others.

Is there a reason I've missed that you think makes a videographer a vital part of your wedding day team?
